 How did we learn
about this market? Shortly after I (founder, Scott McGowan), began
teaching piano in students’ homes (1993), I was swamped with requests
for in-home piano lessons. – By 1996, my wife Harlene joined me, but
the requests for in-home lessons has never stopped!
In 1997, we began
training others to provide the same service - but in a year or two our
office was too swamped to handle requests from all of the Baltimore
Metro area. So ultimately, we began franchising our
unique concept in 2002 which helped eliminate the waiting list in
Maryland, and simultaneously provided a means of spreading our unique
concept to other parts of the country.
But isn’t it hard to find teachers to work for you?
Not at all. We have contracted nearly 200 in Baltimore since 1997 and
our franchisees are having great success as well. We will share our
